Vegetables & Fruits
Green mango, saba cooking bananas, green papaya, calamansi and kangkong. The vegetables, fruits and herbs that Filipino home cooking can’t do without.
Overview / このカテゴリについて
The green of the tropics,
for your kitchen.
Filipino cooking needs ingredients that are hard to find at an ordinary produce counter in Japan: green mango eaten with bagoong, saba bananas for fried sweets, green papaya for tinola, and calamansi to squeeze over everything. Each one shapes the taste of a Filipino home.
Also lemongrass for stuffing lechon manok, banana leaves for wrapping suman, and ube purple yam and cassava for desserts. We carry both fresh and frozen produce.
