In the Philippines / 現地での立ち位置
A fruit-flavored drink filled with bouncy nata de coco. Sip, and the nata de coco comes along with the juice, so you drink and eat at the same time. In the Philippines it is a familiar sight in sari-sari stores (little corner shops) and convenience stores, popular with kids and teens. Nata de coco itself, by the way, originated in the Philippines, so the texture is one locals know well.
With every chew, each sip lasts a little longer.
